Local Team Collaboration:
- Join a team of 6 physicians at Fresno Heart and Surgical Center.
- Work alongside Cardiac, Vascular, and Bariatric surgeons in providing the highest level of care to patients within a 48-bed specialty care hospital. Here you will become an integral member of the hospital and community.
Qualifications
- Ability to work well in a team-based environment, focusing on collaboration and patient-centered care.
- Board Certified/board eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.

Flexible Scheduling:
- Day shift hours are 7 am - 7 pm. Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.
- This is a full or part-time position. Full-time preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient care for patients receiving care in an environment that requires and promises an elevated patient experience.
- Work very closely with surgeons and surgical teams in caring for pre-and post-surgical adult patients of all ages.
- No procedures required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Collaborate with the hospitalist Director on performance improvement initiatives, including length of stay, readmissions, and regulatory compliance. Participate in monthly hospitalist team meetings.
- Focus on delivering high-quality care while benefiting from a flexible schedule, allowing for time with family, friends, and personal interests.
- Work closely with hospital colleagues across departments, serving on committees and contributing to hospital-wide initiatives like reducing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs).
- Utilize Epic EMR system.
