Join the team that's transforming how millions access MSK care—and help us do it face-to-face. Events are the largest contributor of B2B marketing-generated sales opportunities at Hinge Health. As an Events Marketing Associate, you'll be at the center of planning, executing, and promoting 50+ external conferences and Hinge Health-owned events annually, working alongside a high-performing team to deliver exceptional experiences that grow the pipeline and strengthen our market presence.
Hinge Health Hybrid Model
We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages, and we want to be able to leverage the best of both worlds. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 3 days per week, for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. The San Francisco office has a dog-friendly workplace program.
What You'll Accomplish
In Your First 3 Months:
You will dive into the fundamentals of B2B event marketing by supporting logistics for 10-15 events, building relationships with key internal stakeholders (demand gen, creative, sales), and becoming fluent in our event tech stack (Asana, Salesforce, Bizzabo). You'll shadow on-site event execution and begin assisting with pre-event promotional campaigns.
In Your First 6 Months:
You will independently manage event logistics from start to finish for smaller conferences, coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver marketing materials and promotional content on deadline, and take ownership of budget tracking and vendor management for your assigned events. You'll travel to 3-5 conferences to support booth setup and attendee engagement, and begin analyzing event performance metrics to inform future strategies.
In Your First Year:
You will be a trusted partner on the Events Marketing team, owning end-to-end coordination for 15-20 events with minimal oversight. You'll proactively identify process improvements and efficiencies, contribute insights from competitive analysis and industry trends, and support the team in achieving pipeline growth targets. You'll embody our "Lead at All Levels" principle by taking initiative on projects and becoming a go-to resource for event best practices.

Which companies sponsor visas for marketing associates in California?
Large technology and media companies in California have the most consistent sponsorship track records for marketing associates. Google, Salesforce, Meta, Apple, and Adobe in the Bay Area regularly sponsor marketing roles. In Los Angeles, companies like Disney, NBCUniversal, and Snap have also filed H-1B petitions for marketing positions. Mid-size SaaS and e-commerce companies across the state are increasingly sponsoring as well, particularly for data-driven or product marketing roles.
Which visa types are most common for marketing associate roles in California?
The H-1B is the most common visa for marketing associates in California, typically supported when the role requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and involves specialized work such as analytics, digital strategy, or product marketing. F-1 graduates from California universities often bridge on OPT or STEM OPT before seeking H-1B sponsorship. O-1 visas are less common but apply to marketing professionals with demonstrated exceptional achievements.
Which cities in California have the most marketing associate sponsorship jobs?
San Francisco and the broader Bay Area account for the largest concentration of sponsored marketing associate roles in California, given the density of technology and SaaS companies. Los Angeles follows closely, particularly in entertainment, media, and consumer brands. San Diego has a growing base of sponsoring employers in biotech and health tech marketing. Sacramento and San Jose also appear in sponsorship filings, though at lower volumes than the Bay Area and LA.
How to find marketing associate visa sponsorship jobs in California?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international candidates seeking visa sponsorship jobs in the U.S., including marketing associate roles in California. You can filter by state and job category to see employers actively hiring for sponsored positions. Because sponsorship willingness is not always advertised in job postings, using a platform like Migrate Mate that surfaces sponsorship-relevant listings saves significant time compared to broad-based job searching.
Are there state-specific considerations for marketing associates seeking sponsorship in California?
California's prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program are generally higher than the national average, reflecting the state's elevated cost of living, particularly in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. This means employers must pay certified wage levels that reflect local market rates, which can make sponsorship more selective for entry-level marketing associate positions. California also has strong university pipelines from UCLA, USC, and UC Berkeley that generate significant OPT hiring activity, making it a competitive but active sponsorship market.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored marketing associate jobs in California?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
