Which companies sponsor visas for analytics engineers in Colorado?
Several Colorado-based employers have a documented history of H-1B sponsorship for data and analytics roles. Palantir Technologies in Denver, Arrow Electronics in Centennial, and Ibotta are among the more active sponsors. Larger employers with Colorado offices, including Lockheed Martin, DISH Network, and Trimble, have also filed LCAs for analytics-related positions. Sponsorship activity varies year to year and by team, so verifying current openings directly is essential.
Which visa types are most common for analytics engineer roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa for analytics engineers in Colorado, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. Some employers also use the O-1A for candidates with demonstrated expertise. Australians may be eligible for the E-3 visa, and Canadians and Mexicans may qualify under TN status in certain data-focused job categories.
Which cities in Colorado have the most analytics engineer sponsorship jobs?
Denver is by far the primary hub for analytics engineer sponsorship jobs in Colorado, driven by its concentration of technology, finance, and enterprise software companies. Boulder follows, with a strong startup ecosystem and proximity to the University of Colorado. Colorado Springs has a smaller but active market tied to defense and aerospace employers. Remote-friendly Colorado-registered companies also post sponsorship-eligible roles that aren't tied to a single city.
How to find analytics engineer visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters analytics engineer roles in Colorado by visa sponsorship eligibility, saving you from sorting through listings where sponsorship isn't offered. You can filter by location, visa type, and role category to surface relevant openings from Colorado employers actively hiring. This is particularly useful given that sponsorship availability isn't always disclosed upfront in standard job postings.
Are there any Colorado-specific factors that affect analytics engineer visa sponsorship?
Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act requires employers to disclose pay ranges in job postings, which gives analytics engineer candidates useful context when assessing whether an offer meets Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements, a mandatory condition for H-1B approval. Colorado's university pipeline, particularly from CU Boulder and Colorado State University, also means employers are accustomed to sponsoring candidates coming out of graduate programs in data and computer science fields.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored analytics engineer jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
