Which companies sponsor visas for procurement roles in Colorado?
Lockheed Martin, Arrow Electronics, DXC Technology, and Ball Aerospace are among the Colorado employers with established records of sponsoring work visas for procurement and supply chain positions. Large federal contractors in the Denver and Boulder areas tend to have the most structured sponsorship processes, given their scale and compliance infrastructure for sourcing and contract management roles.
Which visa types are most common for procurement roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for procurement professionals in Colorado, particularly for roles requiring a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Procurement analysts and strategic sourcing managers with specialized credentials typically qualify as specialty occupations. Canadian and Mexican nationals may also pursue TN visa status under the USMCA in certain purchasing and management analyst classifications.
Which cities in Colorado have the most procurement sponsorship jobs?
Denver accounts for the largest share of procurement sponsorship activity in Colorado, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters and federal contractors. Aurora and Englewood also see meaningful demand, particularly from aerospace and defense supply chain teams. Colorado Springs has grown as a secondary market, supported by military-adjacent contractors that maintain active procurement and logistics functions.
How to find procurement visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify Colorado procurement roles where employers have indicated willingness to sponsor. Rather than sorting through generic postings, you can search directly for procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain positions in Colorado and see which employers are actively open to sponsoring international candidates, saving significant time in your search.
Are there state-specific considerations for procurement visa sponsorship in Colorado?
Colorado's strong aerospace and defense industry means many procurement roles intersect with federal contracting requirements, including security clearance considerations that can complicate sponsorship for some international candidates. Additionally, the University of Denver and Colorado State University produce supply chain graduates who enter the local talent pool, so sponsored candidates often benefit from demonstrating specialized expertise or prior experience that differentiates them from domestic applicants.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored procurement jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
