So, if you want to inspire a brighter work day for everyone, including yourself, you’ve found a match in Workday, and we hope to be a match for you too.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Agent Factory is where Workday’s next chapter gets built. We’re forming small, senior, cross-functional AI teams that bring together product leaders, machine learning engineers, and full-stack builders to create intelligent agents used by millions of people every day. This is production-grade AI—deeply embedded into Workday’s platform—not research experiments or maintenance work. Teams own problems end to end, collaborate tightly across disciplines, and use the right tools to solve real customer challenges at global scale. You’ll work at the intersection of AI, platform architecture, and human workflows, with the autonomy to shape how agents reason, act, and scale responsibly. High trust, high expectations, and real impact. Engineering, but brighter.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to contribute to a cross-functional team building transformative AI agents for HR & Finance. This role is crucial in implementing tooling strategies, staying informed about industry trends, and ensuring our AI-driven solutions integrate effectively within the Workday stack. Your technical contributions and team-first attitude will play a key role in delivering high-impact products that scale our AI capabilities and help global organizations simplify complex business processes. If this looks exciting, give us a shout!
You will:
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver AI-powered agents that integrate deeply into HR and Financial workflows, accelerating intelligent decision making.
- Participate in a supportive, iterative team culture that values curiosity, learning, and strong engineering practices.
- Contribute to the growth and success of your teammates through knowledge sharing and mentorship.
- Take ownership of multiple functional areas in our platform — from development to production (“you build it, you run it”).
ABOUT YOU
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering
- 5+ years experience with a web development framework (Python preferred: Flask, Django, or FastAPI)
- 5+ years with a Relational DB (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- AI Experience is a plus
- Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with the tradeoffs and architecture of modern distributed systems
- Knowledge of software development best practices (DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability)
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch
- Experience working within fast-paced, agile environments and multi-functional teams
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating complex problems into clear, thoughtful solutions
- Committed to fostering an inclusive, team-oriented environment and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

OUR APPROACH TO FLEXIBLE WORK
With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans. At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email accommodations@workday.com.
Are you being referred to one of our roles? If so, ask your connection at Workday about our Employee Referral process!
At Workday, we value our candidates’ privacy and data security. Workday will never ask candidates to apply to jobs through websites that are not Workday Careers. Please be aware of sites that may ask for you to input your data in connection with a job posting that appears to be from Workday but is not. In addition, Workday will never ask candidates to pay a recruiting fee, or pay for consulting or coaching services, in order to apply for a job at Workday.

Which technology companies in Colorado sponsor visas most frequently?
Major Colorado tech sponsors include Palantir Technologies in Denver, SendGrid (now Twilio), Ball Aerospace, and Arrow Electronics. Denver-based fintech companies like FirstBank and Credit Human also sponsor technology roles regularly. Boulder's tech corridor features sponsors like Particle, Sphero, and various aerospace startups that consistently hire international software engineers and data analysts.
What visa types are most common for technology jobs in Colorado?
H-1B visas dominate Colorado technology sponsorship, particularly for software engineers, data scientists, and cybersecurity roles. O-1 visas are increasingly common for senior engineers at companies like Palantir and aerospace firms. TN visas work well for Canadian and Mexican software developers, while L-1 visas are used by multinational tech companies with Colorado offices.
How to find technology visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate specializes in Colorado technology visa sponsorship opportunities, filtering positions by companies that actively sponsor international talent. Focus on Denver's RiNo tech district, Boulder's aerospace corridor, and Colorado Springs' defense technology sector. Many positions require security clearance eligibility, so highlight your ability to obtain clearances during applications.
Which Colorado cities offer the most technology visa sponsorship opportunities?
Denver leads with the highest concentration of sponsoring tech companies, particularly in fintech and software development. Boulder follows closely with aerospace and hardware startups that regularly sponsor engineers. Colorado Springs offers defense technology positions, while Fort Collins has emerging opportunities in agricultural technology and clean energy software development.
What should international technology workers know about Colorado's job market?
Colorado's technology sector emphasizes outdoor lifestyle balance, which attracts top talent and creates competitive hiring. Many positions require or prefer security clearance eligibility due to aerospace and defense contracts. The state's prevailing wage requirements tend to be lower than coastal markets, but cost of living advantages often offset this difference for sponsored employees.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technology jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
