Which companies sponsor visas for product owners in Delaware?
Delaware's largest visa sponsors for product owner roles are concentrated in financial services and life sciences. JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Barclays maintain sizable technology divisions in Wilmington that have sponsored H-1B petitions for product roles. Incyte and AstraZeneca sponsor product owners in the pharma corridor near Newark. DuPont and Chemours also hire product owners for enterprise software initiatives.
Which visa types are most common for product owner roles in Delaware?
The H-1B is the most common sponsorship pathway for product owners in Delaware, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. Candidates already on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT can begin working before H-1B approval. Intracompany transfers on L-1B visas are also used by large multinationals with Delaware headquarters.
How to find product owner visa sponsorship jobs in Delaware?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse product owner roles in Delaware without sifting through postings that don't offer sponsorship. The platform surfaces roles from Delaware's financial services and life sciences employers who have a documented history of H-1B filings, helping you focus your applications on companies already set up to sponsor.
Which cities in Delaware have the most product owner sponsorship jobs?
Wilmington accounts for the majority of product owner sponsorship opportunities in Delaware, driven by its dense concentration of financial institutions and corporate legal headquarters. Newark, home to the University of Delaware, hosts a secondary cluster tied to technology and pharmaceutical employers. Dover sees limited activity by comparison, though state government technology modernization projects occasionally create product ownership demand there.
Are there any state-specific considerations for product owners seeking sponsorship in Delaware?
Delaware's incorporation-friendly legal environment means many large corporations are headquartered there primarily for legal reasons, with actual technology teams located elsewhere. Confirm the physical work location before applying, as this affects the Labor Condition Application prevailing wage determination. Product owners in Delaware's financial sector may also encounter FINRA or Series licensing expectations, which are separate from visa requirements but relevant to role fit.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product owner jobs in Delaware?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
