Search Business Manager Jobs in FloridaBusiness Manager Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies in Florida sponsor visas for business managers?
Large multinationals with significant Florida operations are the most consistent sponsors for business manager roles. Companies like Carnival Corporation, Citigroup, Ryder System, and World Fuel Services have filed H-1B petitions for business management positions in the state. Hospitality groups headquartered in or operating extensively across Florida, including major hotel and resort chains in the Orlando area, also appear regularly in Department of Labor disclosure data for sponsored roles.
What visa types are most commonly used for business manager roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa path for business managers in Florida, provided the role requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific business-related field such as business administration, finance, or management. Some candidates qualify under the L-1A intracompany transferee category if they're moving from a position at an overseas affiliate. Executives and managers with exceptional records may also explore the EB-1C immigrant visa as a longer-term pathway.
Which cities in Florida have the most business manager visa sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads the state for business manager sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of multinational corporations, Latin American regional headquarters, and a strong financial services sector. Tampa follows closely, with growing professional services and healthcare management demand. Orlando sees consistent sponsorship activity tied to its large hospitality and tourism industry. Jacksonville, as a financial services and logistics hub, also generates a meaningful number of sponsored business management positions.
How to find business manager visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse business manager roles in Florida without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. You can narrow results by city, industry, and visa type to focus on employers actively hiring internationally. Migrate Mate draws on employer sponsorship history, so you can prioritize companies with a track record of filing for business manager roles in the state.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for business managers pursuing visa sponsorship?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects how employers structure compensation packages relative to prevailing wage requirements under the H-1B program. Because the state's economy spans hospitality, healthcare, finance, and international trade, business manager roles vary significantly in their degree requirements and qualifying fields, which can affect whether a position clears the specialty occupation threshold. Candidates from Latin America and Europe are well represented in Florida's international professional pipeline, and several state universities maintain strong alumni networks connected to Florida-based multinationals.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business manager jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
