Which finance companies sponsor E-3 visas in Florida?
Several large financial institutions operating in Florida have a track record of E-3 visa sponsorship, including Citibank, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and Raymond James Financial, which is headquartered in St. Petersburg. Regional banks, insurance firms, and investment management companies based in Miami and Tampa also file E-3 applications for specialty occupation roles. Sponsorship patterns vary by employer and hiring cycle, so checking current filings is the most reliable approach.
Which cities in Florida have the most finance E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Miami is Florida's most active finance hub for E-3 opportunities, driven by its concentration of international banks, private equity firms, and wealth management companies serving Latin American clients. Tampa has a strong presence in insurance, financial services operations, and regional banking. Jacksonville is home to several large financial institutions with back-office and analytical functions. Fort Lauderdale and Orlando also have growing finance sectors worth monitoring.
What types of finance roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship?
E-3 sponsorship applies to specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. In finance, this covers roles such as financial analyst, credit analyst, compliance officer, risk manager, portfolio manager, and investment banking associate. General administrative or sales roles without a degree requirement tied to a specific discipline are less likely to qualify. The employer must demonstrate that the role meets the specialty occupation standard when filing the Labor Condition Application.
How do I find finance E-3 sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, allowing you to filter by visa type, industry, and state to surface finance roles in Florida where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship. This saves significant time compared to reviewing general job postings that rarely specify visa support. Searching through Migrate Mate also helps identify which Florida-based financial employers have sponsored E-3 workers previously, giving you a more targeted list of companies to approach.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for E-3 sponsorship in finance?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects total compensation comparisons when weighing offers against roles in other states. Miami's finance market is heavily oriented toward international business and Latin American capital flows, which can make Australian professionals with multilingual skills or international finance experience more competitive. Florida also has a high concentration of wealth management and private banking roles, which tend to require specific licensing alongside the E-3 specialty occupation qualification.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 finance jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
