Which consulting companies sponsor H-1B1 Chile visas in Florida?
Large management consulting and IT services firms with Florida operations are the most consistent H-1B1 visa Chile sponsors. Companies such as Deloitte, Accenture, Booz Allen Hamilton, and IBM have significant presences in Miami and Tampa and have filed Labor Condition Applications for consulting roles. Regional advisory firms and financial services consultancies in South Florida also sponsor, though at lower volumes. DOL LCA disclosure data is the most reliable way to verify a specific employer's sponsorship history.
Which cities in Florida have the most consulting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for consulting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship, driven by its concentration of multinational firms, financial services companies, and Latin American regional headquarters. Tampa follows, with a growing professional services sector anchored by finance and technology consulting. Orlando has a smaller but active market, particularly for IT consulting tied to its hospitality and healthcare industries. Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton also see sponsorship activity from regional advisory and professional services firms.
What types of consulting roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship?
Roles that qualify must meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning they require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Management consultants, strategy analysts, IT consultants, financial advisors, and operations consultants commonly meet this threshold when the position requires discipline-specific expertise. General business development or account management roles without a degree requirement in a specific field are less likely to qualify. Employers confirm the specialty occupation standard through the Labor Condition Application process with DOL.
How do I find consulting H-1B1 Chile sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by visa type, industry, and state to surface Florida consulting employers with verified H-1B1 Chile LCA filing history, so you're only seeing companies that have actually sponsored this visa category. This is more reliable than general job searches, which don't surface sponsorship intent. You can also cross-reference employer names through the OFLC Wage Search to review their LCA filings directly.
Are there any state-specific or industry-specific considerations for H-1B1 Chile sponsorship in Florida consulting?
Florida has no state income tax, which affects compensation structuring but does not change federal H-1B1 Chile prevailing wage obligations. Consulting employers in Florida must still pay the DOL-determined prevailing wage for the relevant occupation and location. Miami's status as a hub for Latin American business means bilingual consultants with Spanish proficiency are in higher demand, though language ability does not substitute for the specialty occupation and degree requirements that define H-1B1 Chile eligibility.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Chile consulting jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
