Which companies sponsor visas for human resources managers in Florida?
Large multinationals with significant Florida operations are the most consistent sponsors for HR manager roles. Companies like Citigroup, Amazon, AdventHealth, Marriott, and Ryder System have histories of H-1B visa sponsorship for human resources positions. Healthcare systems and hospitality chains headquartered or regionally based in Florida also sponsor regularly, particularly for HR managers with specialized expertise in compensation, labor relations, or HR information systems.
Which visa types are most common for human resources manager roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most common visa for human resources managers in Florida, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. HR managers with multinational experience may also qualify for L-1A intracompany transferee visas if moving within a global organization. Australian citizens have access to the E-3 visa, which follows a similar process to the H-1B without a lottery.
Which cities in Florida have the most human resources manager sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads Florida for HR manager sponsorship activity, driven by its concentration of financial services firms, multinational corporations, and Latin American regional headquarters. Orlando follows closely due to its massive hospitality and theme park industry, with companies like Disney and Universal requiring substantial HR infrastructure. Tampa and Jacksonville also generate meaningful sponsorship volume, particularly in healthcare, logistics, and financial services sectors.
How to find human resources manager visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically to roles where employers are open to visa sponsorship, making it practical to search for human resources manager positions across Florida without manually screening each posting. You can filter by location to focus on Miami, Orlando, or Tampa, and browse roles matched to HR specializations. This saves significant time compared to general job searches where sponsorship willingness is rarely disclosed upfront.
Are there any Florida-specific considerations for HR managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Florida's status as a major hub for Latin American business operations means bilingual HR managers, particularly those fluent in Spanish or Portuguese, are in higher demand in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Florida also has no state income tax, which affects compensation benchmarking HR managers must understand when handling offers. Employers must still meet DOL prevailing wage requirements for sponsored positions, which vary by county and are tied to the Standard Occupational Classification for HR managers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored human resources manager jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
