INTRODUCTION
Kforce has a client in Lake Mary, FL that is seeking a Technical Support Specialist III.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier III technical support and act as an escalation point for Level I and II specialists
- Deliver exceptional, professional customer service to internal customers
- Log all support interactions into the appropriate ticketing system
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application and system issues using standard procedures
- Research and develop solutions, escalating issues when appropriate
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and escalation partners
- Coach and mentor Level I and II specialists
- Serve as a primary contributor and reviewer of the IT knowledge base
- Assist with Service Desk documentation and procedures
- Participate in ongoing IT training initiatives
- Lead small to medium-sized IT projects
- Assist with deployment of system and security patches
- Manage user account provisioning and deprovisioning
- Lead the employee onboarding and offboarding process
- Support Office 365, Active Directory, and SaaS platforms
REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Studies, Information Systems, or related field
- CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent)
- CompTIA Network+ certification (or equivalent)
- 5-7 years of IT hardware and software support experience
- Basic TCP/IP networking knowledge
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
