Which companies sponsor visas for program analysts in Florida?
Defense contractors with significant Florida footprints, including Lockheed Martin, Leidos, SAIC, and Booz Allen Hamilton, are among the most consistent H-1B visa sponsors for program analyst roles. Large health systems such as AdventHealth, HCA Healthcare, and Orlando Health also sponsor analysts supporting clinical informatics and IT programs. Federal agencies and their contractors operating around Jacksonville Naval Station and Cape Canaveral contribute additional sponsorship activity in this role category.
Which visa types are most common for program analyst roles in Florida?
The H-1B is the most frequently used visa for program analyst positions in Florida, particularly at defense contractors and healthcare organizations filing Labor Condition Applications with the Department of Labor. Analysts already holding OPT or STEM OPT through Florida universities sometimes transition directly to employer-sponsored H-1B status. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals whose specific program analyst duties align with eligible TN occupational categories under the USMCA agreement.
Which cities in Florida have the most program analyst sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads in private-sector program analyst sponsorship, driven by finance, logistics, and technology firms. Orlando follows closely, with healthcare IT and simulation-technology employers around the University of Central Florida corridor. Tampa hosts a strong cluster of defense and government consulting sponsors. The Space Coast area, including Melbourne and Titusville, generates demand through aerospace and defense contractors tied to Kennedy Space Center operations.
How to find program analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to identify program analyst openings in Florida without sorting through roles that exclude international candidates. You can narrow results by city, industry, and visa type to focus on defense contractors in Brevard County, healthcare systems in Orlando, or technology employers in Miami, all of which represent active sponsorship markets for this role.
Are there state-specific considerations for program analyst roles and visa sponsorship in Florida?
Florida's large defense contracting sector means many program analyst positions require security clearance eligibility, which can complicate or limit sponsorship for candidates on certain visa statuses. Employers in this sector often have longer hiring timelines as a result. Florida also benefits from a strong pipeline of international graduates from the University of Florida, University of Central Florida, and Florida International University, which feeds local sponsorship demand for analyst roles in healthcare IT and government consulting.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored program analyst jobs in Florida?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
