Search Transportation Jobs in FloridaTransportation TN Sponsorship Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
Which transportation companies sponsor TN visas in Florida?
Large logistics and freight operators with Florida operations, including RYDER System, which is headquartered in Miami, along with port operators at PortMiami, Port Tampa Bay, and JAXPORT, are among the employers that have sponsored TN visas for qualifying professional roles. National trucking carriers, third-party logistics firms, and rail-adjacent freight companies with Florida distribution centers also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data as TN sponsors.
Which cities in Florida have the most transportation TN sponsorship jobs?
Miami leads due to its port, international freight volume, and concentration of logistics headquarters. Tampa and Jacksonville follow closely, driven by major seaport operations and inland freight infrastructure. Orlando sees demand in supply chain and operations management tied to its distribution and e-commerce activity. For Canadian and Mexican professionals, all four metro areas offer meaningful concentrations of TN-eligible transportation and logistics roles.
What types of transportation roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship?
TN status covers a defined list of professional occupations, so not every transportation role qualifies. Positions that commonly meet the criteria include industrial engineers working in logistics optimization, computer systems analysts supporting transportation management systems, accountants handling freight billing operations, and management consultants engaged in supply chain projects. The role must require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field and fall within an approved TN occupation category.
How do I find transportation TN sponsorship jobs in Florida?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter by TN visa type, select Florida as your target state, and browse transportation and logistics roles from employers who have indicated sponsorship willingness. Because TN eligibility depends on the specific role matching an approved occupation, Migrate Mate's filters help you focus on positions where the job requirements align with TN-qualifying professional categories rather than sifting through general job listings.
Are there Florida-specific considerations for TN sponsorship in transportation?
Florida's transportation industry is heavily shaped by international trade through its seaports, which creates demand for professionals in freight operations, logistics coordination, and supply chain management. However, many operational roles in trucking or port labor do not meet the TN professional occupation standard. Candidates should confirm that the specific job duties and degree requirements align with an approved TN category before pursuing an application, as TN status is job-title and duty-specific.
