Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for business development leaders?
Atlanta-headquartered companies with established visa sponsorship programs for senior business development roles include Global Payments, NCR Atleos, Cox Enterprises, Salesforce's Atlanta hub, and Manhattan Associates. Midsize fintech and SaaS firms in the Buckhead and Midtown tech corridor also sponsor regularly, particularly for candidates bringing specialized enterprise sales or partnership development experience that is difficult to source domestically.
Which visa types are most common for business development leader roles in Georgia?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for business development leader roles in Georgia, provided the position requires a specific bachelor's degree in a related field such as business administration, marketing, or a technical discipline. Candidates with extraordinary achievement in business development may also qualify for the O-1A. Multinational professionals transferring within the same company to a Georgia office may be eligible for the L-1A or L-1B depending on their role.
How to find business development leader visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find business development leader roles in Georgia where employers have a documented history of visa sponsorship. Rather than filtering through general job boards, Migrate Mate focuses specifically on international candidates, making it straightforward to identify Atlanta-area companies actively open to sponsoring H-1B and other work visas for senior business development positions.
Which cities in Georgia have the most business development leader sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of business development leader sponsorship activity in Georgia. Within the metro area, Midtown and Buckhead are the primary hubs, home to technology, fintech, and professional services firms. Alpharetta, in the northern suburbs, hosts a dense cluster of enterprise software companies and is a secondary market worth targeting. Savannah sees occasional demand driven by logistics and port-related commerce.
Are there state-specific considerations for business development leaders pursuing sponsorship in Georgia?
Georgia's Department of Economic Development actively recruits global companies to establish regional headquarters in Atlanta, which creates a recurring pipeline of business development leadership roles at newly arrived international firms that already have experience sponsoring visas. Georgia Tech and Emory University also generate networks of internationally educated professionals in Atlanta, meaning many local employers are familiar with the H-1B process for business-facing senior roles.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored business development leader jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
