Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for concierge roles?
Large hotel brands with Georgia properties are the most active sponsors. Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and Four Seasons affiliates operating in Atlanta, Savannah, and Augusta have filed Labor Condition Applications for guest services and concierge positions. Convention-focused properties near Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center and luxury resort operators in coastal Georgia also appear in DOL sponsorship records for hospitality roles.
Which visa types are most common for concierge jobs in Georgia?
The H-1B applies to concierge roles framed as specialty occupations requiring a hospitality management or related bachelor's degree. The H-2B covers temporary or seasonal concierge positions, which is common at resort and golf properties in Augusta and coastal Georgia with peak visitor seasons. Candidates already holding TN, E-3, or O-1 status may also find Georgia employers willing to facilitate a transfer without new sponsorship paperwork.
How to find concierge visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship history, so you can search for concierge roles in Georgia and see which employers have a verified record of sponsoring workers. This is more targeted than browsing general listings. Focus your search on Atlanta, Savannah, and Augusta, where hospitality demand is highest and sponsoring employers are most concentrated.
Which cities in Georgia have the most concierge sponsorship opportunities?
Atlanta leads by a wide margin, driven by its hotel density around Buckhead, Midtown, and the convention district. Savannah is the second-strongest market, with its historic downtown hotel corridor generating consistent demand for experienced concierge staff. Augusta sees seasonal spikes around the Masters Tournament each spring. Smaller markets like St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island have niche resort properties that occasionally sponsor for seasonal concierge roles.
Are there any Georgia-specific factors that affect concierge visa sponsorship?
Georgia employers must meet DOL prevailing wage requirements for the concierge role's location and experience level, which you can research using the OFLC Wage Search tool. Georgia is an E-Verify state for public employers and state contractors, so many large hotel groups operating here already use E-Verify, which can streamline work authorization verification. The concentration of hospitality management programs at Georgia State University and Georgia Tech also means some employers in Atlanta have established pipelines for international hospitality graduates.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored concierge jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
