Which staffing companies sponsor Green Card visas in Georgia?
Several large and mid-size staffing firms operating in Georgia have filed Green Card petitions, including Insight Global, Randstad, Manpower, and Robert Half. These companies most commonly sponsor through the EB-2 or EB-3 preference categories via PERM labor certification. Sponsorship activity is concentrated at their Atlanta and Alpharetta offices, where permanent placement and managed services divisions tend to generate the most long-term hiring commitments.
Which cities in Georgia have the most staffing Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the majority of staffing Green Card sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its dense concentration of corporate headquarters and IT staffing clients. Alpharetta is a secondary hub, particularly for technology-focused staffing firms serving the North Atlanta tech corridor. Savannah is growing in industrial and logistics staffing as port-related activity expands, while Augusta sees demand in healthcare and government-adjacent staffing roles.
What types of staffing roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Georgia?
Roles that qualify for Green Card sponsorship through staffing firms in Georgia are generally full-time, direct-hire or permanent-placement positions rather than contract work. IT staffing roles such as software engineers, data analysts, and network administrators are the most common. Healthcare staffing positions including registered nurses and physical therapists also generate significant PERM filings. The role must have a genuine, ongoing employer-employee relationship to support a PERM-based petition.
How do I find staffing Green Card sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship type, so you can search for staffing Green Card jobs in Georgia without sorting through roles that don't offer immigration support. The platform aggregates positions from staffing firms actively sponsoring through EB-2 and EB-3 pathways in cities like Atlanta and Alpharetta. Filtering by state and visa category on Migrate Mate saves significant time compared to unfiltered job searches.
Are there Georgia-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in the staffing industry?
Georgia does not impose state-level restrictions on Green Card sponsorship, but the staffing industry itself has specific federal requirements that affect filings in any state. PERM labor certification requires the employer to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role, which means staffing firms must conduct and document a genuine recruitment process. Georgia's competitive Atlanta job market means prevailing wage determinations and recruitment documentation are closely scrutinized by the Department of Labor.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card staffing jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
