Which technology companies in Georgia sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas?
Georgia-based technology and technology-adjacent employers with documented H-1B1 Singapore Labor Condition Application filings include NCR Voyix, Global Payments, Cox Enterprises, Fiserv's Atlanta operations, and IBM's Georgia offices. Consulting firms like Deloitte and Accenture also maintain Georgia presences with active H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship histories across software development, systems integration, and data engineering roles.
Which cities in Georgia have the most technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the majority of technology H-1B1 visa Singapore sponsorship activity in Georgia, particularly in Midtown, Buckhead, and the Perimeter Center corridor. Alpharetta has emerged as a secondary hub for fintech and cybersecurity employers. Savannah and Augusta have smaller but growing technology employer bases, though Atlanta remains the dominant market for Singapore national applicants seeking H-1B1 sponsorship.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in Georgia?
Roles qualifying for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship must meet the specialty occupation standard, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In Georgia's technology sector, qualifying roles commonly include software engineer, data scientist, cloud architect, cybersecurity analyst, DevOps engineer, and business intelligence developer. Generalist IT support positions that do not require a specific degree field typically do not meet the specialty occupation requirement.
How do I find technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters technology job listings in Georgia specifically by H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history, drawing on DOL Labor Condition Application data to surface employers with verified filing records. This lets Singapore nationals target companies that have already demonstrated willingness to sponsor H-1B1 visas for technology roles in Georgia, rather than applying broadly and discovering late in the process that sponsorship is unavailable.
Are there state-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in Georgia's technology sector?
Georgia does not impose state-level immigration requirements beyond federal H-1B1 rules, but employers with Georgia state contracts are subject to E-Verify enrollment mandates, which can affect onboarding timelines. Georgia's strong fintech and payments infrastructure draws Singapore nationals with financial technology backgrounds, and the state's absence of a personal income tax is a practical consideration when evaluating total compensation alongside the prevailing wage requirements certified in the LCA.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore technology jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
