Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for product owners?
Atlanta-headquartered technology and enterprise companies are the most active sponsors. NCR Voyix, Cox Enterprises, The Home Depot's technology division, Delta Air Lines' digital team, and Anthem (now Elevance Health) have all filed H-1B petitions for product owner and product manager roles. Georgia's fintech sector, concentrated around Buckhead, adds employers like Global Payments and Fiserv to the sponsorship pool.
Which visa types are most common for product owner roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is by far the most common visa for product owner positions in Georgia. Because the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field, it generally meets the specialty occupation standard. Candidates with Canadian or Mexican citizenship may qualify for TN visa status under the USMCA. Australians can explore the E-3 visa as an alternative that bypasses the H-1B lottery.
How to find product owner visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship willingness, so you can search product owner roles in Georgia without sorting through employers who won't sponsor. The platform surfaces positions from Atlanta's fintech corridor, enterprise tech companies, and logistics firms that have a documented history of H-1B filings, saving you the manual work of cross-referencing DOL disclosure data yourself.
Which cities in Georgia have the most product owner sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of product owner sponsorship activity in Georgia. Midtown Atlanta, Buckhead, and the Perimeter Center area host the densest concentration of technology employers. Alpharetta, just north of Atlanta, has emerged as a secondary hub with a notable cluster of fintech and software companies. Outside Metro Atlanta, sponsorship opportunities for product owners are significantly more limited.
Are there any Georgia-specific factors that affect product owner visa sponsorship?
Georgia Tech in Atlanta creates a pipeline of candidates familiar to local employers, which can influence hiring competition for sponsored roles. Georgia has no state income tax on certain earnings structures, making total compensation packages attractive for international hires negotiating offers. Employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay the Department of Labor's prevailing wage for the specific metro area, which differs between Atlanta and smaller Georgia markets.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product owner jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
