Which companies in Arkansas sponsor visas for product owners?
Walmart Technology in Bentonville is the most active H-1B sponsor for product roles in Arkansas, given the scale of its global e-commerce and supply chain systems. Dillard's, Windstream, and Stephens Inc. in Little Rock have also filed sponsorships for product-adjacent positions. Smaller health tech and logistics software firms in the state occasionally sponsor as well, particularly where specialized product domain experience is required.
Which visa types are most common for product owners in Arkansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for product owners in Arkansas. The role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation because employers require at least a bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field. International candidates already on F-1 OPT or STEM OPT can work for a sponsoring employer while the H-1B petition is filed. Canadians and Mexicans may also qualify under the TN visa in certain product management configurations.
How to find product owner visa sponsorship jobs in Arkansas?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship, making it easier to identify product owner openings in Arkansas without sorting through roles that don't support international candidates. The platform aggregates positions from Bentonville-area tech employers and Little Rock's finance and healthcare sectors. Setting up alerts for product owner roles in Arkansas on Migrate Mate will surface new sponsorship-eligible openings as they're posted.
Which cities in Arkansas have the most product owner sponsorship jobs?
Bentonville leads by a significant margin due to Walmart's headquarters and the dense ecosystem of technology vendors and suppliers surrounding it. Little Rock follows, with product owner opportunities across state government IT, financial services, and healthcare organizations like Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Fayetteville also sees activity given the University of Arkansas presence and growing startup community in the broader Northwest Arkansas corridor.
Are there any state-specific considerations for product owners seeking sponsorship in Arkansas?
Northwest Arkansas has emerged as a genuine technology hub, not just a retail corridor, which means product owner demand extends into supply chain platforms, logistics software, and enterprise SaaS. The University of Arkansas and local coding bootcamps supply some domestic talent, but employers frequently look internationally for candidates with specific agile, platform, or data product experience. Because Arkansas prevailing wages for product roles are generally lower than coastal markets, H-1B compliance costs can be more manageable for sponsoring employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored product owner jobs in Arkansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
