Which companies sponsor visas for professional services consultants in Georgia?
Major sponsors for professional services consultant roles in Georgia include Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, Cognizant, Infosys, and Wipro, all of which operate significant delivery and consulting offices in the Atlanta metro area. Healthcare IT firms like NCR Voyix and fintech companies headquartered in Atlanta also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data as recurring H-1B sponsors for consulting roles.
Which visa types are most common for professional services consultant roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for professional services consultants in Georgia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field such as business, information systems, or engineering. The L-1B visa is also used when consultants transfer within a multinational firm, and the TN visa applies to qualified Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible consulting categories.
How to find professional services consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is designed specifically for this search. You can filter by role and state to surface professional services consultant positions in Georgia where employers have a documented history of visa sponsorship. Because consulting firms in Atlanta frequently hire through project-based cycles, checking Migrate Mate regularly gives you visibility into openings at firms like Accenture, Deloitte, and Cognizant as they post.
Which cities in Georgia have the most professional services consultant sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of professional services consultant sponsorship activity in Georgia, driven by its concentration of Big Four accounting firms, global consulting offices, and technology companies. Alpharetta and Dunwoody, both northern Atlanta suburbs, host a high density of IT consulting and managed services firms. Sandy Springs also appears frequently in Department of Labor LCA filings for Georgia-based consulting roles.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for professional services consultants seeking visa sponsorship?
Georgia's strong university pipeline, particularly from Georgia Tech and Georgia State University, means employers in Atlanta are accustomed to hiring and sponsoring international graduates for consulting roles. Employers must pay the Department of Labor prevailing wage for the specific role and metropolitan area, which for Atlanta reflects a competitive professional services market. Consulting roles that involve client site work across multiple Georgia locations may require the employer to file multiple LCA worksite addenda.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored professional services consultant jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
