Which companies sponsor visas for sales consultants in Georgia?
Atlanta-headquartered companies with consistent visa sponsorship histories for sales roles include NCR Voyix, Global Payments, Cox Enterprises, and Veritiv. Larger technology and SaaS firms with Georgia offices, such as Salesforce and SAP, also sponsor sales consultants. Enterprise software and fintech companies tend to file the most Labor Condition Applications for sales consultant positions in the state.
Which visa types are most common for sales consultant roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa for sales consultants in Georgia, particularly for roles requiring a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. The L-1B is another path for intracompany transfers with specialized knowledge of a company's products or sales systems. Canadian and Mexican nationals in sales roles may qualify for TN status under the USMCA, provided the position meets specialty occupation criteria.
Which cities in Georgia have the most sales consultant sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of sales consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia, driven by its concentration of corporate headquarters, technology firms, and financial services companies. Alpharetta, often called Georgia's Technology City, is a secondary hub with a strong presence of SaaS and cybersecurity companies actively hiring sales professionals. Savannah and Augusta have smaller but growing markets, particularly in logistics and healthcare sales.
How to find sales consultant visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for visa sponsorship, making it easier to find sales consultant roles in Georgia without sifting through positions that don't support international candidates. You can search by role and state to surface openings at Georgia employers with active sponsorship programs. Focusing your search on Atlanta and Alpharetta will return the highest volume of relevant results for sales consultant positions.
Are there state-specific considerations for sales consultant visa sponsorship in Georgia?
Georgia does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal standards, but prevailing wage compliance under Department of Labor guidelines applies to all sponsored sales consultant roles. Atlanta's competitive sales market means employers typically seek candidates with documented B2B or enterprise sales experience. Georgia Tech and Emory University produce graduates who enter sales roles, so international candidates benefit from highlighting technical or industry-specific knowledge that differentiates them from the local talent pool.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales consultant jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
