Which companies sponsor visas for sales support specialists in Georgia?
Several large employers in Georgia have a documented history of sponsoring work visas for sales support roles. NCR Voyix and Global Payments, both headquartered in Atlanta, regularly file H-1B petitions for commercial operations positions. Fiserv, Cox Enterprises, and UPS also appear in Department of Labor disclosure data for sales support and related roles. Staffing-heavy markets like Atlanta mean enterprise tech and fintech firms are among the most active sponsors in this category.
Which visa types are most common for sales support specialist roles in Georgia?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for sales support specialists in Georgia, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, marketing, or information systems. Some employers also sponsor TN visas for Canadian and Mexican nationals in qualifying business roles. L-1B transfers are another pathway for specialists moving from a foreign affiliate of a U.S.-based company to a Georgia office.
Which cities in Georgia have the most sales support specialist sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the overwhelming majority of sales support specialist visa sponsorship activity in Georgia. The metro area's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters, fintech companies, and logistics firms drives demand in Midtown, Buckhead, and suburban corridors like Alpharetta and Sandy Springs. Alpharetta in particular has emerged as a technology sales hub, hosting regional offices for enterprise software companies that regularly staff sales support teams and have prior sponsorship history.
How to find sales support specialist visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search. You can filter jobs by role and state to surface sales support specialist positions in Georgia where employers have a verified sponsorship history. This saves significant time compared to sorting through general postings where sponsorship status is unclear. Migrate Mate pulls from employers who have filed LCAs or H-1B petitions, so the sponsorship signal is grounded in actual DOL disclosure data rather than guesswork.
Are there any Georgia-specific considerations for sales support specialists seeking visa sponsorship?
Georgia's strong fintech and logistics sectors create consistent demand for sales support specialists with technical product knowledge, which strengthens the specialty occupation argument employers need to make for H-1B approval. Atlanta's university ecosystem, including Georgia Tech and Georgia State, also means employers are accustomed to hiring internationally trained candidates. The Department of Labor sets prevailing wage levels by metropolitan area, so compensation benchmarks for Alpharetta or Midtown Atlanta will differ from rural Georgia locations.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored sales support specialist jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
