You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage risk, and drive execution across complex construction environments. You are accountable for program performance within your assigned scope.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full lifecycle of hyperscale data center construction programs, including pre-construction, design coordination, procurement tracking, construction, commissioning support, and operations handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and execution plans.
- Track scope, schedule, and cost performance against commitments.
- Lead risk identification and maintain program risk registers.
- Own mitigation plans and track risk resolution through project completion.
- Manage change control processes, including evaluation of change orders and scope impacts.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and design intent for alignment and constructability.
- Coordinate submittals, RFIs, field changes, and design clarifications.
- Partner with engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and applicable codes.
- Maintain dashboards and weekly reporting for leadership.
- Highlight key risks, issues, and required decisions in executive updates.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination meetings and drive alignment.
- Support punch-list completion and contractual closeout requirements.
- Travel up to 30% as required.
This position may require the candidate/employee to undergo additional background checks and drug screenings prior to and during the course of employment in support of customer-specific deployments.
What We’re Looking For
- You take ownership of assigned programs and drive predictable outcomes.
- You anticipate risks before they impact schedule or cost.
- You remain calm and effective under pressure.
- You communicate clearly across technical and executive audiences.
- You manage ambiguity and shifting priorities without losing structure.
- You influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- You balance technical detail with program-level oversight.
What You’ll Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience managing construction projects.
- Experience managing projects from pre-construction through handover.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Understanding of construction sequencing and field execution.
- Experience using project management software such as MS Project, Primavera P6, Procore, or Smartsheet.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in data center or mission-critical construction environments.
- Experience in hyperscale or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with commissioning and integrated systems testing.
- PMP certification.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet every preferred qualification.

Which companies in Georgia sponsor visas for technical program managers?
Atlanta-headquartered companies with consistent TPM hiring and sponsorship histories include NCR Voyix, Cox Enterprises, Delta Air Lines, and Southern Company. Large technology employers with Atlanta offices, including Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce, also sponsor technical program managers. Financial technology firms concentrated in the Buckhead and Midtown corridors have become an increasingly active source of TPM sponsorship in recent years.
Which visa types are most common for technical program manager roles in Georgia?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa category for technical program managers in Georgia, as the role typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Candidates with existing O-1 visa or L-1 visa status, or those transferring from another employer's H-1B, are also common. TN visa status is available for Canadian and Mexican nationals whose credentials align with qualifying engineer categories.
Which cities in Georgia have the most technical program manager sponsorship jobs?
Atlanta accounts for the large majority of technical program manager sponsorship jobs in Georgia. Midtown and Buckhead are the primary office corridors, with additional concentration in the Perimeter Center area in Dunwoody. Smaller tech presences exist in Alpharetta, which hosts several enterprise software and cybersecurity companies, and Savannah, though sponsoring employers there are far less common for TPM-level roles.
How to find technical program manager visa sponsorship jobs in Georgia?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship, making it straightforward to browse technical program manager roles in Georgia without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. Because TPM roles in Georgia skew toward fintech, logistics technology, and enterprise software, filtering by those sectors on Migrate Mate helps narrow to employers with the strongest sponsorship track records in the state.
Are there any Georgia-specific factors that affect technical program manager sponsorship hiring?
Georgia Tech in Atlanta produces a steady pipeline of engineering graduates familiar to local employers, which raises the overall technical bar for TPM candidates competing for sponsored roles. The state's growing fintech corridor, sometimes called Transaction Alley, means many sponsoring employers expect TPMs to have experience coordinating payment systems or financial infrastructure programs. Georgia does not impose state-level visa restrictions beyond federal requirements, but H-1B cap timing affects hiring cycles at most Atlanta employers the same way it does nationally.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored technical program manager jobs in Georgia?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
