ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2010 after working in investment planning and financial services, bringing a strong background in financial guidance and long-term strategy into agency ownership. Our team has grown to 11 members, and we’re proud to be one of the top-producing agencies in the state.
Outside of the office, I’m a well-known musician on the island and stay deeply involved in the community — coaching youth basketball, serving on the local school board, participating with the food bank, adopting a highway, and sponsoring school events. Giving back is part of who we are, and it’s something our entire team takes pride in.
We offer group life insurance, a Simple IRA, health benefits, and flexibility to support our team. Our culture is built on working hard, having a lot of fun, and genuinely taking care of others. We’re looking for someone with integrity, a competitive spirit, and a true commitment to serving people — someone who wants to grow with us and help push the agency toward becoming the number one office in the state.

Which companies in Hawaii sponsor visas for account managers?
Hawaiian Telcom, First Hawaiian Bank, Bank of Hawaii, and Oceanit are among Hawaii-based employers with a history of sponsoring work visas for business and account management roles. Large hospitality groups operating in Waikiki and Maui also sponsor account managers, particularly those with multilingual skills or experience serving international clients from Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
Which visa types are most common for account manager roles in Hawaii?
The H-1B is the most common visa for account managers in Hawaii, provided the role qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or communications. Some employers also use the L-1B for intracompany transfers. Australian nationals may qualify for the E-3 visa, which has no lottery and processes more quickly than the H-1B.
Which cities in Hawaii have the most account manager sponsorship jobs?
Honolulu accounts for the large majority of account manager sponsorship opportunities in Hawaii. It hosts the state's financial services sector, technology companies, federal agencies, and corporate hotel headquarters. Kahului on Maui has a smaller but active market tied to resort and hospitality management. Account manager roles in Hilo and Kona tend to be fewer and concentrated in retail or utility sectors.
How to find account manager visa sponsorship jobs in Hawaii?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find account manager roles in Hawaii where employers are actively open to visa sponsorship. Because Hawaii's sponsorship market is smaller than mainland metros, filtering specifically by state and role matters. Migrate Mate surfaces verified sponsorship-willing employers, so you're not spending time applying to postings where sponsorship is never on the table.
Are there any Hawaii-specific considerations for account managers seeking visa sponsorship?
Hawaii's high cost of living affects prevailing wage calculations, which employers must meet when filing an H-1B Labor Condition Application. Roles tied to federal contracts, particularly those supporting Pacific Command or USAID programs, may require U.S. citizenship and cannot be sponsored. Candidates with Pacific Rim language skills or experience in tourism-related account management tend to have stronger positioning with Hawaii's sponsoring employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account manager jobs in Hawaii?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
