Which companies sponsor visas for account managers in Utah?
Technology companies in the Silicon Slopes corridor are the most active sponsors. Qualtrics, Adobe, Domo, Pluralsight, and Instructure have all sponsored international workers in account management and customer success roles. Enterprise software and SaaS companies tend to file the most Labor Condition Applications in this category across Utah, particularly for roles managing mid-market and enterprise clients.
Which visa types are most common for account manager roles in Utah?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for account managers in Utah, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, marketing, or communications. Employers must demonstrate the position qualifies as a specialty occupation. Australians may pursue the E-3 visa, which follows a similar structure but has no lottery. Canadian and Mexican nationals may qualify under the TN visa category.
Which cities in Utah have the most account manager sponsorship jobs?
Salt Lake City has the highest concentration of sponsoring employers overall, but Lehi and Provo, the core of the Silicon Slopes tech corridor, host a significant share of SaaS and enterprise software companies that hire account managers. Sandy and Draper also have employer clusters. Most sponsored account manager roles are tied to the Wasatch Front, where the majority of Utah's tech workforce is based.
How to find account manager visa sponsorship jobs in Utah?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, so you can search account manager roles in Utah without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform covers employers across the Silicon Slopes corridor and Salt Lake City metro. Filtering by role and state on Migrate Mate surfaces companies with an active track record of sponsoring international candidates for client-facing positions.
Are there any Utah-specific considerations for account managers pursuing visa sponsorship?
Utah's tech sector skews heavily toward SaaS, edtech, and enterprise software, so account manager roles here often require demonstrated experience with software sales cycles or customer success metrics. Employers sponsoring H-1B workers must pay the prevailing wage for the role and location as certified by the Department of Labor. BYU, the University of Utah, and Utah Valley University produce graduates who can feed into OPT pipelines for entry-level account management positions.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account manager jobs in Utah?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
