This position is multi-departmental, under direct supervision of the Controller. The position supports various functions, requires strict confidentiality, sound judgment, good time management and the highest work ethics. The candidate should be self-motivated, highly organized, able to take initiative and able to apply technology to its fullest potential.
Duties

Responsible for accounting functions including but not limited to: processing invoices, bank reconciliations, filing and check writing.

Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements for various entities.

Assist with annual budgeting process.

Assist the Controller with special assignments and other duties as directed.

Responsible for the general office operations including: office equipment maintenance, general office supplies, kitchen inventory and general office operations.

Assist with organizing of employee events, functions, etc.

Provide support to Executive and Personal Assistants.
Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting.

Minimum 1 year of prior accounting experience in invoice processing, general ledger management and financial statement preparation.

Must be proficient on the computer and 10-key.

Proficient use of Excel, Word and Great Plains a plus.

Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills.

Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Must be flexible and have the ability to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment.
