Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The International Programs Assistant Coordinator will work directly with the Director of the University of Hawaii - West O'ahu Office of Global Engagement and other UHWO faculty.
- Conduct day-to-day operations of the UH West O'ahu Office of Global Engagement.
- Assists in managing and directing assigned services, programs, and operations related to International Programs and/or International Students.
- Work with other UHWO Staff on matters regarding International affairs.
- Coordinate Outbound & Inbound International Programs at UH West O'ahu.
- Functional knowledge of administrative and organizational processes as applied to the management of operations, services, facilities, and programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a baccalaureate degree in education, communication, humanities, or a related field.
- Equivalent of two (2) years or more of progressively responsible professional experience providing educational services for international students.
- Two (2) or more years of prior experience working/interacting with International students & coordinating international programs.
- Demonstrated ability in program development, including needs assessment, design, and evaluation.
- Ability to work outside normally scheduled business hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to work in-person at the UH West O'ahu campus.
