Which companies sponsor visas for patient service coordinators in Idaho?
St. Luke's Health System and Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center are Idaho's largest healthcare employers and have histories of sponsoring work visas for qualified administrative and clinical support roles. Idaho's federally qualified health centers and larger regional hospital networks are also worth targeting, as they operate under federal funding structures that can support H-1B and other sponsorship pathways for patient service coordinator positions.
Which visa types are most common for patient service coordinator roles in Idaho?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for patient service coordinator roles when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as healthcare administration or a related discipline. Some coordinators working in clinical research settings may qualify under J-1 exchange visitor programs. TN visas apply to Canadian and Mexican nationals in certain listed occupations. Eligibility depends on the specific role requirements and the employer's determination that the position qualifies as a specialty occupation.
Which cities in Idaho have the most patient service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Boise and Meridian account for the large majority of patient service coordinator openings in Idaho, driven by the concentration of hospital campuses, outpatient specialty clinics, and healthcare system headquarters in the Treasure Valley. Nampa and Twin Falls see secondary demand as regional medical hubs serving surrounding communities. Idaho Falls and Pocatello also have hospital-anchored healthcare markets worth monitoring, particularly for candidates open to smaller metro settings.
How to find patient service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Idaho?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it easier to identify Idaho employers willing to sponsor patient service coordinators rather than sorting through general postings. You can search by role and state to surface active openings at health systems and clinics across Boise, Meridian, and beyond. Focusing your search on large hospital networks and multi-site outpatient groups in Idaho will generally produce the strongest results for sponsored positions.
Are there state-specific considerations for patient service coordinator sponsorship jobs in Idaho?
Idaho's healthcare sector is growing faster than its local workforce pipeline can fill, which creates genuine demand for qualified candidates from outside the state and country. Because Idaho lacks a large academic medical center with a dedicated international recruitment infrastructure, sponsored roles tend to come from the major integrated health systems rather than smaller independent practices. Candidates with credentials evaluated by a recognized foreign credential assessment organization tend to move through employer review processes more efficiently in this market.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored patient service coordinator jobs in Idaho?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
