Which companies sponsor visas for patient service coordinators in New Jersey?
The largest sponsors in New Jersey are major health systems, including RWJBarnabas Health, Hackensack Meridian Health, Atlantic Health System, and Virtua Health. Academic medical centers affiliated with Rutgers and Cooper University Health also file sponsorship petitions for administrative clinical roles. Sponsorship is more common at large hospital networks than at smaller independent practices, where administrative roles may not meet sponsorship thresholds.
Which visa types are most common for patient service coordinator roles in New Jersey?
The H-1B is the most common visa for patient service coordinators when the role requires a relevant bachelor's degree, such as healthcare administration or a related field. Some positions may qualify under the TN visa for Canadian or Mexican nationals in qualifying occupational categories. Employers typically assess whether the specific role meets specialty occupation requirements before committing to sponsorship, so degree-to-role alignment is important.
How to find patient service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in New Jersey?
Migrate Mate filters patient service coordinator jobs specifically by visa sponsorship status and state, making it straightforward to find New Jersey-based roles at health systems and medical centers that have a verified history of sponsoring international candidates. Searching Migrate Mate by role and location lets you focus on employers like RWJBarnabas or Hackensack Meridian who actively hire for these coordinator positions across the state.
Which cities in New Jersey have the most patient service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Newark, New Brunswick, Morristown, and Camden see the highest concentration of patient service coordinator openings tied to major hospital campuses. Edison and Hackensack also generate consistent hiring volume given the regional medical centers anchored there. Northern New Jersey generally offers more opportunities due to its proximity to New York City's broader healthcare market, which creates overflow demand for administrative clinical staff.
Are there state-specific considerations for patient service coordinators seeking sponsorship in New Jersey?
New Jersey's high density of hospital systems and outpatient networks means prevailing wage benchmarks for administrative healthcare roles are set at competitive regional levels, which employers must meet when filing H-1B petitions. The state's large immigrant population also means many healthcare employers have established HR processes for sponsorship. Roles requiring bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish or South Asian languages, are in demand across northern and central New Jersey.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored patient service coordinator jobs in New Jersey?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
