Which companies sponsor visas for patient service coordinators in Colorado?
UCHealth, SCL Health (now Intermountain Health), Children's Hospital Colorado, Denver Health, and Centura Health are among the larger Colorado employers with documented histories of sponsoring work visas for healthcare support roles. Academic medical centers affiliated with the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus also hire patient service coordinators and have established international hiring infrastructure.
Which visa types are most common for patient service coordinator roles in Colorado?
The H-1B is the most common work visa for patient service coordinators, but it requires the employer to classify the role as a specialty occupation requiring a relevant bachelor's degree. The TN visa is available to Canadian and Mexican nationals if the position meets qualifying criteria. Some coordinators also work on OPT following a healthcare administration or health information management degree from a U.S. institution.
Which cities in Colorado have the most patient service coordinator sponsorship jobs?
Denver and Aurora account for the majority of patient service coordinator openings in Colorado, largely due to the concentration of hospital systems and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Colorado Springs has a growing healthcare presence with facilities like UCHealth Memorial. Fort Collins and Boulder also see demand, particularly from outpatient clinics and specialty practices serving university populations.
How to find patient service coordinator visa sponsorship jobs in Colorado?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters patient service coordinator listings in Colorado by visa sponsorship status, so you're not sorting through roles that won't consider work authorization. You can search by city or region across Colorado, making it easier to target openings near major health systems in Denver, Aurora, or Colorado Springs without wading through listings from employers who don't sponsor.
Are there any Colorado-specific considerations for patient service coordinators seeking visa sponsorship?
Colorado's Department of Labor and Employment publishes prevailing wage data that employers must reference when filing an H-1B Labor Condition Application for any position in the state. Patient service coordinator roles near the Anschutz Medical Campus benefit from a dense network of affiliated clinics and research hospitals. Graduates of Colorado healthcare administration programs at CU Denver or Colorado State University sometimes transition from OPT into sponsored positions with local employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored patient service coordinator jobs in Colorado?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
