Which companies sponsor visas for growth marketing managers in Illinois?
Chicago-based employers with documented H-1B sponsorship histories for marketing roles include Salesforce, Morningstar, Groupon, and Tempus AI, along with mid-sized SaaS and fintech firms concentrated in the West Loop and River North corridors. Agencies, e-commerce platforms, and health tech companies in the Chicago metro also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA filings for growth and performance marketing positions.
Which visa types are most common for growth marketing manager roles in Illinois?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for growth marketing managers in Illinois, as the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related analytical field and qualifies as a specialty occupation. Candidates already holding O-1 status, TN visas (for Canadians and Mexicans), or L-1 transfers from multinational employers are also hired into these roles by Illinois companies.
Which cities in Illinois have the most growth marketing manager sponsorship jobs?
Chicago accounts for the large majority of growth marketing manager sponsorship activity in Illinois. The strongest concentrations are in the West Loop, River North, and Fulton Market neighborhoods, where SaaS, fintech, and digital media companies cluster. Suburban areas like Downers Grove and Schaumburg occasionally have openings at enterprise technology firms, but sponsored marketing roles outside Chicago are comparatively rare.
How to find growth marketing manager visa sponsorship jobs in Illinois?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to browse growth marketing manager openings in Illinois without sorting through companies that don't sponsor. You can filter by role and state to surface Illinois employers actively hiring international candidates for growth, demand generation, and performance marketing positions, saving significant time compared to reviewing unfiltered postings.
Are there any Illinois-specific factors that affect visa sponsorship for growth marketing managers?
Illinois follows federal prevailing wage requirements for H-1B filings, and Chicago's cost of living means offered salaries for growth marketing manager roles generally meet or exceed the DOL wage thresholds without significant difficulty. The University of Illinois system and Northwestern University produce a steady pipeline of international marketing and MBA graduates, which means Illinois employers are relatively familiar with the sponsorship process compared to employers in smaller markets.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored growth marketing manager jobs in Illinois?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
