About the role and team
Uber Advertising is rewriting the playbook for how brands connect with consumers in the physical world. As a Senior Client Partner for our Strategic Verticals, you will be a founding member of a high-stakes division, tasked with building ads partnerships from the ground up with the world's largest Tech, Telco, and B2B brands. This isn't a role for those who want a polished roadmap; it's for builders who are energized by the messiness of creating a new business within a global giant.
The pace is relentless and the ambiguity is high, but the impact is tangible. You will navigate complex internal and external landscapes, turning "no" into "how" and "impossible" into "delivered." We are looking for a strategic seller who possesses the grit to pursue long-term partnerships and the adaptability to pivot as our product suite evolves. If you thrive on ownership and are ready to carry the weight of high-pressure decisions that shape the future of Uber's advertising business, you will find your place here.
- Build and grow long-term partnerships by deeply understanding what matters most to our Tech, Telco, and B2B customers, moving beyond transactional sales to create mutual value.
- Navigate the internal complexity and shifting priorities of a newly formed division to unlock growth opportunities across both our Mobility and Delivery platforms.
- Manage high-value pipelines with discipline and persistence, recognizing that securing trust with C-level marketing executives often requires months of creative problem-solving.
- Adapt your sales strategy based on imperfect information and evolving market dynamics, as there is no pre-existing playbook for our unique advertising offering.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Operations to resolve blockers, influence product roadmaps, and deliver bespoke solutions at scale.
- Communicate with clarity and negotiate confidently through tough partner conversations, ensuring Uber's value proposition is differentiated in a competitive digital landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of full-time experience in end-to-end Enterprise or Large Customer Digital Advertising Sales.
- Proven track record of selling complex advertising solutions to large-scale enterprise brands and organizations.
- Experience in prospecting and winning net-new partnerships within the technology, telco, or B2B sectors.
- Strong educational background or equivalent professional experience in business, marketing, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced skills in value creation and capture, with the ability to craft creative deal terms in challenging negotiations.
- Expert-level storytelling ability, using data to quantify opportunities and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Demonstrated resilience and resourcefulness in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments.
- Strong leadership mindset with a history of raising the bar for team performance and accountability.
- Systems-thinking approach to managing a large portfolio of accounts and identifying market trends before they occur.

Which technology companies in Illinois sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas?
Illinois technology employers with documented H-1B1 visa sponsorship history include Motorola Solutions, Zebra Technologies, Tempus AI, and several large financial-technology firms headquartered in Chicago such as Enova International and Avant. Enterprise software consultancies and cloud-services divisions of major corporations in the Chicagoland area also file H-1B1 applications regularly, particularly for software engineering and data analytics roles requiring specialty-occupation credentials.
Which cities in Illinois have the most technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Chicago accounts for the overwhelming majority of technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity in Illinois, driven by its concentration of fintech, healthtech, and enterprise software employers. The North Shore suburbs, including Schaumburg and Deerfield, host technology operations centers for companies like Motorola Solutions and Baxter International. Smaller pockets of technology hiring appear in Peoria and Champaign, often tied to university-affiliated startups and manufacturing-technology companies.
How do I find technology H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Illinois?
Migrate Mate filters technology job listings in Illinois specifically by H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history, letting you identify employers who have filed H-1B1 applications for specialty-occupation roles rather than relying on self-reported sponsorship claims. You can narrow results by role type, city, and employer size. Reviewing an employer's prior OFLC Labor Condition Application filings through Migrate Mate helps confirm genuine sponsorship capacity before you apply.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in Illinois?
Roles that routinely qualify include software engineer, data scientist, machine learning engineer, cloud architect, cybersecurity analyst, DevOps engineer, and quantitative analyst positions that require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field such as computer science, electrical engineering, or applied mathematics. Illinois employers most commonly file H-1B1 visa applications for these titles within fintech, healthcare IT, and enterprise SaaS sectors. Generalist IT support roles that accept any degree field typically do not meet the specialty-occupation standard.
Are there Illinois-specific or industry-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in technology?
Illinois has no state-level work authorization layer, so sponsorship follows federal H-1B1 visa requirements exclusively. Technology employers in Chicago's fintech corridor often move quickly through the Labor Condition Application process because they maintain established relationships with immigration counsel and have prior OFLC filing experience. Singapore nationals should confirm that their employer files a new H-1B1 application for each employment period, as the H-1B1 does not carry the portability provisions available under some other nonimmigrant categories.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore technology jobs in Illinois?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
