Which companies sponsor visas for finance analysts in Indiana?
Eli Lilly, Elevance Health, and Cummins are among the Indiana employers with documented H-1B sponsorship history for finance and analyst roles. Large regional banks, insurance carriers, and healthcare systems headquartered in Indianapolis also appear regularly in Department of Labor LCA disclosure data for finance analyst positions. Sponsorship activity is most concentrated among large corporations rather than smaller regional firms.
Which visa types are most common for finance analyst roles in Indiana?
The H-1B is the most common visa for finance analyst roles in Indiana, as the position typically qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. Candidates from Australia may qualify for the E-3 visa, and Canadian and Mexican nationals may be eligible under the TN visa category, which includes financial analysts as a listed occupation.
Which cities in Indiana have the most finance analyst sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the large majority of finance analyst sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by the concentration of Fortune 500 companies, healthcare organizations, and financial services firms headquartered there. Fort Wayne and Bloomington see smaller but consistent demand, particularly from manufacturing companies and university-affiliated institutions. Remote and hybrid roles posted by Indiana-based employers can also be accessible to candidates located elsewhere in the state.
How to find finance analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically for roles where employers have indicated sponsorship willingness, which saves significant time compared to manually reviewing postings. For finance analyst roles in Indiana, you can search by state and job category on Migrate Mate to surface positions from Indianapolis-area employers in healthcare, insurance, and manufacturing, the sectors where sponsorship is most active. Verifying sponsorship directly with the employer during the application process is always recommended.
Are there any Indiana-specific factors finance analysts should know about visa sponsorship?
Indiana's life sciences and healthcare sectors, anchored by Eli Lilly and a network of hospital systems, create consistent demand for finance analysts with industry-specific knowledge, which can strengthen an H-1B petition by demonstrating the specialized nature of the role. Indiana University and Purdue University produce a steady pipeline of international finance graduates who enter the local job market on OPT, making employer familiarity with sponsorship processes relatively common among large Indianapolis employers.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored finance analyst jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
