Overview
When Alfred Fain founded a small Rhode Island tire store in 1924, at the time no one could have predicted how Teknor Apex would become an international custom compounder sought out by companies around the world. After a nearly hundred-year journey that’s carried us through acquisitions and expansion, we now have nine U.S. locations, as well as operations in Belgium, Singapore, Germany, and China.
Throughout this global expansion Teknor has remained a privately held company, and today Fain’s grandson sits at the helm, maintaining the family’s tradition of fostering deep employee and customer relationships. These relationships are what allow us—together—to deliver customized compound solutions and help our customer’s create better products.
“Manufacturing is a team sport, and we work together to achieve our goals.” ~Jon Fain

Which companies sponsor visas for finance analysts in Rhode Island?
Rhode Island's most active visa sponsors for finance analyst roles include Amica Mutual Insurance, FM Global, Lifespan Health System, Care New England, and Citizens Financial Group. These organizations have established HR infrastructure for H-1B visa petitions and regularly appear in Department of Labor LCA disclosure data for finance and analytical positions. Smaller regional banks and credit unions sponsor less frequently.
Which visa types are most common for finance analyst roles in Rhode Island?
The H-1B is the most common visa for finance analysts in Rhode Island, as financial analysis meets the specialty occupation standard requiring a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. F-1 OPT and STEM OPT extensions are also common entry points for graduates of Rhode Island's universities before employers transition them to H-1B status.
Which cities in Rhode Island have the most finance analyst sponsorship jobs?
Providence accounts for the large majority of finance analyst visa sponsorship activity in Rhode Island, home to the state's largest financial services employers, hospital networks, and insurance companies. Cranston and Warwick see some activity from insurance carriers with regional offices. Rhode Island is a small state geographically, so most sponsored roles are accessible from the greater Providence metro area.
How to find finance analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Rhode Island?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find finance analyst visa sponsorship jobs in Rhode Island, with listings filtered specifically by role and state so you're not sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. Given Rhode Island's compact job market, it helps to also set alerts for Providence-area employers in financial services, insurance, and healthcare, where sponsorship is most established for analytical roles.
Are there state-specific considerations for finance analyst visa sponsorship in Rhode Island?
Rhode Island's finance job market is smaller than neighboring Massachusetts or New York, so competition for sponsored roles is meaningful. Employers must pay H-1B holders the prevailing wage determined by the Department of Labor for the Providence-Warwick metropolitan area. Brown University, Bryant University, and the University of Rhode Island produce finance and economics graduates who are well-known to local employers, giving alumni a practical networking advantage.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored finance analyst jobs in Rhode Island?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
