Job Summary:
PTI is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Supervisor to lead and support our quality control team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all materials and products meet customer and company quality standards while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Computer skills: Microsoft Works, Excel, Google Drive, PowerPoint
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Ability to follow work rules and company policies
- Ability to work independently and complete assignments within given guidelines
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Job Duties:
- Supervise and direct employees involved in inspection and quality control processes
- Ensure quality standards are met for incoming, in-process, and finished products
- Plan, assign, and train team members
- Develop and improve inspection procedures, standards, and equipment
- Analyze issues and determine appropriate corrective actions
- Maintain work instructions, inspection reports, and records
- Investigate quality issues and collaborate with production supervisors on solutions
- Maintain discipline, morale, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure customer requirements are consistently met
- Enforce PPE usage and safety standards
- Maintain 5S standards in the work area
- Follow all ISO/IATF procedures and company work instructions
- Participate in performance reviews
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely perform essential job functions
- Regular and punctual attendance required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand, kneel, and move throughout the shift
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced industrial setting
- Safety equipment (PPE) required at all times
