Which companies sponsor visas for strategy professionals in Indiana?
Eli Lilly and Company, Cummins, and Salesforce are among the most active visa sponsors for strategy roles in Indiana. Consulting firms operating in Indianapolis, such as those supporting the state's life sciences and advanced manufacturing sectors, also sponsor international candidates for positions in corporate strategy, market analysis, and business development.
Which visa types are most common for strategy roles in Indiana?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for strategy professionals in Indiana, as roles in corporate strategy, business development, and strategic planning typically qualify as specialty occupations requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, economics, or finance. Some candidates also enter through L-1B or O-1 visa classifications depending on their background and employer.
How to find strategy visa sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it a practical starting point for strategy roles in Indiana. You can search by role type and state to surface positions at Indianapolis-area employers in life sciences, manufacturing, and consulting who have a documented history of sponsoring international candidates for strategic planning and business development positions.
Which cities in Indiana have the most strategy sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis is by far the leading city for strategy sponsorship jobs in Indiana, home to major corporate headquarters and regional offices across life sciences, technology, and financial services. Columbus, Indiana sees some demand driven by Cummins' global operations. South Bend and Fort Wayne have smaller but growing professional services markets with occasional strategy-level sponsorship activity.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for strategy visa sponsorship?
Indiana's concentration in pharmaceutical and advanced manufacturing industries means many strategy roles are tied to sector-specific experience in supply chain strategy, R&D commercialization, or operational planning. Employers sponsoring H-1B workers must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the Indianapolis or relevant metro area, so the offered role must align with a qualifying specialty occupation classification to support the petition.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored strategy jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
