Summary
We are seeking an Inventory Stock Handler / QC Receipt Inspector to join our team at Premier Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, conducting quality audits and inspections of inbound material to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our processes. Individual must be willing to travel out of state up to 50% during the first year training period.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of materials and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Management of inventory - hands on and electronic.
- Document review.
- Perform quality audits and document findings for continuous improvement.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers for accurate assessments.
- Collaborate with team members to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain records of inspections, audits, and quality control measures.
- Stay updated on industry standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality control or inspection within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality assurance practices.
- Must be hands on, with the ability to go from the computer screen to the warehouse.
- Will be certified on a fork-lift to utilize as needed.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Travel required as part of a certification process.
