Job Type: Full-time with overtime
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Reports to: Foreman, no supervisory responsibility
Wage: $25 - $31 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

JOB SUMMARY
The Equipment Operator (Concrete Belt Placer) will be responsible for operating a full range of heavy equipment. The Equipment Operator (Concrete Belt Placer) is a full-time, seasonal position that requires travel with overtime, reports to the Foreman, and has no supervisory responsibility.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a full range of heavy equipment (i.e. skid steer loader, excavator, motor grader, backhoe, compact roller, front end loader, dozer, shoulder machine, concrete paver, concrete belt placer, concrete cure and texture machine, etc.).
- Perform inspections and maintenance of equipment such as greasing, checking oil, water, and tires/tracks.
- Perform physical duties about grade prep and/or concrete work (i.e. shovel, sledgehammer, rake, etc.).
- Follow, enforce, and always promote all company safety and quality requirements.
- Operate and maintain other equipment as needed.
- Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. work in poor weather conditions or outside normal hours).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test.
- Class B CDL.
- Class A CDL.
- Belt Placer Specific.
- Basic mechanical skills.
- One to three years of experience in heavy equipment.
- Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of road construction materials, processes, and industry requirements.
- Understand instructions from supervisory positions, both written and verbal.
- Dependability and reliability by showing up to scheduled shifts on time and being prepared for work.

- Operate hand and foot controls
