Scheduled Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (8‑hour shift)

Summary
The Warehouse Technician position is an hourly position that reports to the Plant Controller. The employee is responsible for handling all finished product for transport out of the facility and all raw materials coming into the facility. The employee also is responsible for monitoring inventory levels of raw material, finished product, and scrap.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Load outbound finished product onto trucks for shipment
- Utilize SAP software for various shipping and receiving duties
- Stage product for upcoming shipments during downtime
- Monitor inventory levels and execute accurate cycle counts at regular intervals
- Unload raw materials entering the facility
- Perform all tasks safely, and ask for assistance when presented with an unfamiliar situation
Skills And Abilities
The employee should hold the following abilities:
- Once trained in all basic functions of the role, must be able to remain on-task and must be comfortable receiving direct instructions from supervisor
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
- Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must have the ability to multi-task
- Must have strong forklift driving skills
- Must work well in a team environment
- Must have the ability to do basic mathematical calculations
- Must be able to read instruments and accurately record readings
- Must have basic computer skills
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPETENCIES
The Employee Must Be Able To:
- Operate a computer or other keyboard instrument
- Operate a warehouse management material tracking system and its software
Education And/Or Experience
The employee should have the following:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Possess valid forklift driver’s certification
Essential Physical Requirements/Work Environment
The employee should possess the ability to:
- Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Repeatedly enter and exit a forklift
- Work in high and low temperatures
- Work in wet conditions
- Lift up to 50 pounds
