Our Industrial Center of Excellence (ICoE) Division is seeking a Structural Designer to join our growing team. This group delivers high‑performing projects at the intersection of innovation and functionality, with a strong focus on food and beverage, federal, and industrial facility design. Our work spans new construction, renovations, and complex industrial systems—always with client experience, community impact, and technical excellence at the forefront.
What You’ll Do
- Support the structural design of new buildings, renovations, and facility expansions
- Produce detailed drafting for industrial structural steel systems, including equipment supports, platforms, and pipe racks
- Apply internal and client CAD/BIM standards, ensuring consistency and accuracy across deliverables
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, taking ownership of project goals and contributing to overall project success
- Participate in WSP’s robust QA/QC process, delivering work that reflects high standards of quality, accountability, and pride

Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 7+ years of experience in civil design and terrain modeling using Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or comparable software
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic project environment
- Solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts and drawing setup
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings
- Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn and apply new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Drafting or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced expertise with Revit
- Experience working in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Prior construction experience in an industrial or commercial environment

Compensation:
Expected Hourly: $30.97 - $44.28
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position within the state of Colorado, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
