Respiratory Therapist
Location: Craig, Colorado
Pay Rate: $60/hr to $63/hr
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Night Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 1 year required
About the Role
We are seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week quick-start night-shift contract opportunity in Craig, Colorado. This role provides safe and skilled respiratory care across emergency, neonatal, pediatric, geriatric, and critical care settings, including mechanical ventilation, airway management, medication administration, and patient assessment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory care procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
- Initiate, maintain, and monitor ventilator patients and recommend appropriate therapy changes
- Perform airway management, suctioning, bag/mask ventilation, and assist with intubation support
- Perform arterial blood gas draws and document respiratory care accurately
- Maintain respiratory equipment, complete patient charge entries, and communicate patient status during reports
Requirements
- Active Colorado Respiratory Therapist License Required
- CRT Credential Required; RRT Credential Preferred Or Accepted If Applicable
- BLS/BCLS And NRP Certifications Required
- Graduate Of A CoARC-Approved Respiratory Care Program Required
- Minimum 1 year of hospital respiratory experience required; pulmonary and cardiac diagnostics experience preferred
