McFarland Clinic is currently accepting application for Infusion Manager for its Fort Dodge location. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include:
- Direct supervision of infusion staff.
- Provides direct patient care as indicated including travel to outreach clinic sites.
- Collaborates with physicians and Director regarding practice needs and efficient effective oncology health care delivery processes.
- Develops staffing patterns to provide adequate coverage.
- Responsible for hiring, orientation, training, performance reviews, coaching and performance improvement plans of direct reports.
- Develop department specific goals and objectives, policies and procedures.
- Coordinates ongoing development and standardization of infusion regimens for EHR.
- Communications with industry resp regarding new therapies and education of nursing staff.
- Assists with the preparation, monitoring and evaluation of department budget.
- 25% to 75% of time will be working as infusion nurse.
- 50% of time directly supervising infusion nurses.

Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE
- Possession of Current State Registered Nurse license.
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Oncology Nursing certification or certified eligible and obtain within one year of employment.
DAYS
4-10 hour days. Monday - Friday
HOURS
7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Experience
Minimum of 2 years Oncology and infusion nursing experience.
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
