Smaller regional businesses sponsor less frequently.
Which visa types are most common for assistant manager - sales roles in Kansas?
The H-1B is the most common visa for assistant manager - sales roles in Kansas, provided the position qualifies as a specialty occupation requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, marketing, or a discipline specific to the industry. Canadian and Mexican nationals may also qualify under the TN visa category for management roles. Australian citizens can explore the E-3 visa.
Which cities in Kansas have the most assistant manager - sales sponsorship jobs?
Overland Park and Wichita generate the most assistant manager - sales sponsorship activity in Kansas. Overland Park, as part of the Kansas City metro, hosts corporate offices for national retailers and financial services firms with structured sponsorship programs. Wichita's manufacturing, aerospace supply chain, and agricultural sectors create demand for sales management talent, including internationally sponsored candidates.

Kansas employers sponsoring H-1B workers must comply with Department of Labor prevailing wage requirements for the specific metro area and occupation code. What is the prevailing wage for sponsored assistant manager - sales jobs in Kansas?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
