Job Summary:
As an Operator at MacroSource, you will play a vital role in the loading of trucks and railcars, ensuring the efficient transfer of dry and liquid fertilizers. Your responsibilities will encompass using approved tools and methods, operating front-end loaders, skid steers, bulk conveying equipment, and handling general maintenance tasks. Safety, attention to detail, and adherence to company guidelines are crucial aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Load trucks and railcars with dry fertilizer, utilizing approved tools and methods.
- Transfer liquid fertilizer, operating pumps, valves, piping, and automation systems.
- Perform general equipment maintenance using appropriate tools.
- Follow guidelines for ascending and descending ladders on railcars, trucks, towers, and platforms.
- Maintain facility and grounds through proper housekeeping methods.
Qualifications/Special Demands/Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in a fertilizer terminal is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of company-supplied personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toe or sturdy leather boots.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and deal with heights and around water while following respiratory and fall protection guidelines and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- This role requires English proficiency to ensure safe and effective communication in a safety-sensitive environment.
- Willingness to undergo a drug test and background check.
- Flexibility to work overtime (some nights and weekends) as required. Typical working hours are Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm.
