I need a Rainmaker! ️ (rayn·may·kr)
✨•Definition• In the BUSINESS WORLD a “Rainmaker” is an individual who generates high amounts of revenue for an organization by bringing new customers and new leads to the company.
- ️This is a SALES role, you talk on the phone, text, email & speak face to face so if the thought of that makes you cringe - then this isn’t for you. And because this is sales - you must be able to handle rejection ️‼️
While this is a SALES focused position - our conversations are NEEDS-BASED, meaning we ARE NOT talking to customers about products they do not need or overselling. We get to know all of our customers on an individual basis and based on those conversations we find solutions that fit their needs and concerns. Everyone has to have insurance - and it’s not one size fits all.
Qualities in a Rainmaker:
- Highly Motivated
- Able to work independently & as a team
- Effective time management
- Enjoys problem-solving
- Detail Oriented
- High level of integrity
- Effective Critical & Analytical Skills
- Desire to continuously improve knowledge/skills
This is a great opportunity to grow with a small business, be an active part of a small community, build your professional and individual skills and have the opportunity to become an agency owner if desired.
❗️insurance experience not required.
❗️sales experience preferred.
❗️must be coachable.
❗️must be willing to become licensed.

Which companies sponsor visas for account associates in Kentucky?
Louisville-based Humana is among the more active sponsors for business and account management roles in Kentucky. Companies in financial services, healthcare technology, and logistics, including regional firms in Lexington and Bowling Green, have filed Labor Condition Applications for account associate positions. Sponsorship activity varies by company size and hiring cycle, so researching individual employers directly is the most reliable approach.
Which visa types are most common for account associate roles in Kentucky?
The H-1B visa is the most common visa for account associate roles when the position requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, finance, or marketing and qualifies as a specialty occupation. TN visas are available to Canadian and Mexican nationals in eligible professional categories. Some candidates also work under OPT or STEM OPT extensions while seeking long-term sponsorship from a Kentucky employer.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most account associate sponsorship jobs?
Louisville concentrates the majority of Kentucky's sponsored account associate opportunities, driven by its large healthcare, insurance, and logistics employer base. Lexington is the second most active market, supported by financial services firms and the University of Kentucky's business ecosystem. Smaller markets like Bowling Green and Covington, near the Cincinnati metro area, also see occasional sponsorship activity tied to manufacturing and regional corporate offices.
How to find account associate visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship eligibility, making it straightforward to find account associate roles in Kentucky without manually screening each employer. You can search by state and job category to surface positions where employers have indicated willingness to sponsor. This saves significant time compared to applying broadly and discovering late in the process that a company does not offer sponsorship.
Are there state-specific considerations for account associates seeking visa sponsorship in Kentucky?
Kentucky does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal standards, but account associate roles must still meet USCIS specialty occupation criteria for H-1B eligibility, which can be a point of scrutiny for generalist-sounding titles. Employers in Louisville's healthcare corridor, particularly those affiliated with Humana or hospital networks, tend to have established HR and legal processes for managing sponsorship compared to smaller regional firms.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored account associate jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
