Which companies sponsor visas for manager, product management roles in Kentucky?
Louisville-based Humana is among the most active sponsors for product management roles in Kentucky, given its large technology and digital health divisions. Lexmark International in Lexington also has a history of sponsoring product leaders in enterprise software. Beyond these, regional financial services firms and healthcare technology companies in Louisville's growing tech corridor have filed H-1B petitions for product management positions.
Which visa types are most common for manager, product management roles in Kentucky?
The H-1B is the most common visa category for Manager, Product Management roles in Kentucky. Product management qualifies as a specialty occupation because it typically requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or engineering. Candidates already holding L-1A or O-1A status may also find these roles accessible, and some employers will support green card sponsorship through the EB-2 or EB-3 categories after an initial period.
Which cities in Kentucky have the most manager, product management sponsorship jobs?
Louisville accounts for the large majority of product management sponsorship activity in Kentucky, driven by its concentration of healthcare, logistics, and financial services companies. Lexington is the secondary market, supported by employers in enterprise technology and manufacturing. Outside these two cities, opportunities are limited, so most international candidates targeting Kentucky product management roles focus their search on the Louisville metro area.
How to find manager, product management visa sponsorship jobs in Kentucky?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship availability, making it straightforward to search for Manager, Product Management roles in Kentucky without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. Because product management hiring in Kentucky is concentrated among a smaller set of employers, using a focused tool like Migrate Mate helps identify which Louisville and Lexington companies are actively hiring and open to sponsoring international candidates.
Are there state-specific considerations for product management sponsorship roles in Kentucky?
Kentucky does not impose state-level visa or work authorization requirements beyond federal rules, but employers filing H-1B petitions must meet Department of Labor prevailing wage standards for the Louisville or Lexington metropolitan statistical areas, which are the relevant wage benchmarks for most Kentucky product management roles. The University of Kentucky and University of Louisville also create a steady pipeline of candidates, meaning competition for sponsored positions at established employers can be meaningful.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored manager, product management jobs in Kentucky?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
