LSU Health New Orleans is seeking candidates for an IT HELP DESK BACKUP ANALYST 1 - 4. The ideal candidate will work as part of a team providing 24-hour Service Desk support on incoming phone, email, or TDX tickets directed to the Service Desk. Analysts will provide triage support by solving simple to intermediate issues at the Analyst level, or by properly routing more advanced or specialized issues using the TDX ticketing system. The analyst will be required to assess each request and solve or route the issue in a timely manner. This position is eligible for remote work in accordance with CM-73 - Remote Work Policy.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 24-hour Service Desk support on incoming phone, email, or TDX tickets
- Solve simple to intermediate issues at the Analyst level
- Properly route more advanced or specialized issues using the TDX ticketing system
- Assess each request and solve or route the issue in a timely manner
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education: Bachelor's
Required Field of Study: Degree from an Accredited Four-Year Institution
Number of years required to perform the job: ITA1 - 0, ITA2 - 2, ITA3 - 5, ITA4 – 10
Type of experience required to perform the job: Relevant Service Desk or IT Analyst Experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Discipline: Technology Aligned Curriculum
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with IT Service Management System
- Experience with enterprise backup system
- Previous Higher Education and/or Healthcare experience
- Previous Service Desk experience
