Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as a point of contact for Intermodal / Equipment customer & vendor questions and issues.
- Fields Intermodal / Equipment questions from customers and vendors, on a nationwide basis.
- Establishes and maintains positive relationships with customers and vendors.
- Provides timely and accurate response to inquiries, following corporate guidelines. Generates potential solutions to issues.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve problems and concerns or further escalates unique or complex customer issues to the appropriate internal department for resolution when necessary.
- Maintains updated records of customers & vendors interactions in MSC Systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service, MSC proprietary systems).
- Maintains a good level of knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Service functionalities pertaining to Intermodal / Equipment CS activities and of Intermodal / Equipment workflows and procedures for the geographies under scope.
- Performs other duties as required.
This role requires working on-site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed. The office is located at Two Lakeway, 3850 N. Causeway Blvd., Suite 1100, Metairie, LA 70002

- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in a similar role (supply chain, transportation, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, customer service, etc.)
