Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and urgent medical conditions.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including obtaining medical histories and conducting physical examinations.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory studies and imaging when appropriate.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Prescribe medications and provide medication management in accordance with state regulations and clinic protocols.
- Perform common urgent care procedures such as wound care, suturing, incision and drainage, splinting, foreign body removal, and other procedures within scope of practice.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up recommendations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient documentation using electronic health record systems, including EPIC.
- Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support a positive patient experience.

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour
