JOB DETAILS
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations for the business. This individual will partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and business leaders to provide financial insights, improve processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional with manufacturing experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to understand how accounting impacts operational performance. Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Support inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing-related transactions
- Analyze financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Support internal and external audits
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and efficiencies
- Leverage NetSuite to streamline reporting and enhance financial visibility
- Participate in system enhancements and finance transformation initiatives
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Strong understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting principles
- Experience using NetSuite ERP strongly preferred
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across multiple business functions
